HACCP Plan Preparation and Certification
space
HACCP is a scientific and systematic method to ensure that the facility has implanted procedures to protect their products.
space
HACCP Certification by the American Council for Food Safety & Quality is offered to ensure that your HACCP Plan is appropriate and meets HACCP certification requirements.
space
There are four steps to HACCP Certification:
1. We will evaluate your written pre-requisite programs, HACCP manual and review the Critical Control Points and Critical Limits in your HACCP Plan. If there are any discrepancies or non-conformities (major or minor) in any of these areas, you will be required to make the appropriate changes.
2. An on-site audit of your plant will be conducted by one of our auditors, based on the seven HACCP principles and the required prerequisite programs listed here in this checklist. The audit will cover actual implementation of the HACCP plan, employee training, data collection and record keeping.
3. Your firm must achieve an 80% score in each Prerequisite Category and 90% in the HACCP category.
4. Following a successful on-site audit, you will receive a "HACCP Certificate," which is valid for one year. After the year, a new audit will be conducted. Continuing HACCP certification will require that the facility continue to meet the requirements for HACCP certification.

In addition, since our staff has a variety of product experience, we can prepare or assist you in the preparation of your HACCP plan.
