DFA of California provides outgoing shelled and inshell almond inspections graded to USDA standards. DFA has the capability of certifying product quality on a per load basis or can provide a customized quality control process by continuously monitoring product quality at the time of packing. Under the current Almond Board of California’s Voluntary Aflatoxin Sampling Plan (VASP), DFA can inspect product and take samples for lab analysis. Detailed sampling and inspection can also be performed at handler facilities to ensure they are meeting customer requirements.
